Welcome to Rainfall Garden, the personal website of Kaedesnow!

About

I'm Kaedesnow. That's it.

Projects

I'm making projects! Projects are things that I'm willing to put efforts in, and possibly, maintain.

No finished projects currently > <

Toys

I also have some toys. Toys are things way smaller than a project, mainly just for fun.

Currently, the first toy on this site is a simple Nim game reproduce, and the latest one is a more intense Nim Game. See the Toys tab for a full list of them!

About This Website

This is Rainfall Garden, Kaedesnow's personal website.

I created this website in July 2026, after playing CSS Clicker, a website-building-themed clicker game, and hearing of Neocities by chance. A free website option from Neocities plus a basic somehow-modern taste for website design from CSS Clicker – this website was born.

Currently, this website does nothing, but I plan to let it store some of my projects and toys in the future.

Credits

Website design based on the Material design in CSS Clicker, and enriched using design from Materialize.

This website is hosted by Neocities. Neocities is a hub for a lot of creative, fun sites; see its browse page for others' websites!

Nim Game

Nim Game is a famous game in Combinatorial Game Theory about beating the opponent through removing stones from piles. You can now play it here (requires 800x600, best at 1366x768+).

I knew this game from 奇怪的游戏 in CCBC14, and it came up first when I tried to think of a game that could be easily implemented in HTML/CSS/JS and not be too boring. Compared with some existing Nim-Game-play-online's where you always lose, this version of the game is always winnable from the start, as a computer-slay-human show is never fun. I also added some sort of randomness to make the game replayable.

Intense Nim Game

Nim Game, but you have to deal with three computers and three timers simultaneously. Available here (requires 1366x768+).

This is an attempt to make the original Nim Game more intense as the name suggests. Instead of focusing on large pile heights (which easily exceed the intended screen heights) and large number of piles (which mostly only matter in the first few turns), this version of the game involves three Nim Games of smaller sizes. Timers and 100%-IQ computers are essential; not designed to be played while drinking tea.
